1866 (7.10) Folded entire from Tanta via Alexandria to Kymi, Greece, franked Egypt 1st Issue 1 pi tied POSTE VICE – REALI EGIZIANE/TANTA/7.OTT.66 circular datestamp, with Greece 40 lep applied in transit and tied diamond of dots with “97” of Alexandria, with circular datestamp of the Greek Post Office of Alexandria alongside, cover stains not affecting stamps, disinfection slits, a very rare combination franking with Egypt 1st Issue

1862 (23.1) Folded entire from the Greek Post Office in Alexandria, sent unpaid to Athens via the Austrian Lloyd Steamer, endorsed “Par bateau Autrichien” and bearing the oval merchant’s cachet, manuscript 190 in red alongside, postage due applied on arrival in Greece, with addition of Hermes Head 10 lep, 20 lep (Athens Printing) and 2 x 80 lep (Paris Printing), all neatly tied by diamond of dots with “1” in of Athens, and attractive 3 colour franking, with Athens circular datestamp 29.1.62 arrival, showpiece
